We'd like to acknowledge the hard work of DCCS medical students who took part in the Global Medical Brigades for the 4th annual trip. This year (2018) the group traveled again to Nicaragua and raised $10,150.
Global Medical Brigades uses medical students from the U.S. to travel abroad to dis-advantaged populations in order to provide desperately needed medical care. Volunteers also provide support to put in place infrastructure that has a lasting effect on the communities they serve internationally.
