2026 Despite Fluctuations by Gender, DCCS High School Graduation Rates Continue to Surpass US and Utah; Female Rate hits 100%

September 1, 2026

The on-time high school graduation rate among DCCS members remained high in 2026 at 96.49%, down slightly from 97.96% the previous year. The rate continues to surpass both Utah and national graduation rates by nearly seven percentage points.

Graduation rates among DCCS females increased in 2026, reaching 100% for the first time in our history.

For purposes of the study, on-time graduation is defined as completing an accredited high school diploma within four years of beginning a high school program. All high school-aged DCCS members were included in the study, providing a comprehensive measure rather than a sample of the population.

The 2026 results mark the seventh consecutive year that the DCCS on-time graduation rate has remained above 93%. For comparison, Kentucky reported the highest statewide on-time graduation rate in the nation in 2025 at 93.6%.[1]
