2023 DCCS High School Graduation Rates Continue to Surpass Utah and US; Female Rate Highest on Record

The 2023 on-time high school graduation rate for DCCS members rose from 93.75% to 94.79% which continues to surpass the rates of Utah and the US. On-time graduation rates in 2023 by gender showed DCCS males decreased from 93.75% to 92.31% and females increased from 92.50% to 97.73%, a record high.

Former Washakie Renewable Energy Executives Sentenced to Prison

Former executives of Washakie Renewable Energy were sentenced to prison this week. Jacob Kingston along with his wife Sally, mother Rachel and brother Isaiah, all pleaded guilty in 2019 to crimes related to the company’s scheme to defraud the federal government of bio-fuel credits.
