SB102 amending Utah's bigamy statute was passed 70-3 in the state House of Representatives. The bill now goes back to the Senate for a final vote before going to the Governor's desk for final approval.

For many years, DCCS High School graduation rates for men and women have surpassed the rates of the surrounding population in Utah, as well the US. 2019 was no exception. DCCS members' on-time graduation rate for the year was 91.2% compared to Utah's 87.4% and the United States' 84.16%.
Mary and Bryan Nelson filed a lawsuit May 2019 in Federal court alleging DCCS leaders and members followed a pattern of fraud when applying for federal student aid through the FAFSA program. DCCS members deny the allegations, calling them baseless and contradictory.
